Local information


By car: either M3 – A303 – A30 – M5 (more ‘scenic’ route), or M4 as far as Bristol, then M5 all the way to Exeter.

From Exeter, exit the M5 at J 31 towards Bodmin/Okehampton. Stay on this road for about half an hour, until just past Launceston, where you take the exit marked North Cornwall, following towards Wadebridge A395. Stay on this road until Davidstow, where you turn left onto the A39, again towards Wadebridge and Camelford. After about a mile, take the right hand turn towards Delabole and Port Isaac (B3314). Stay on this road, going straight over at the crossroads and follow it through Delabole. Keep going until you see a right hand turn for Polzeath, which you take. Follow this road and then take the right hand turn for New Polzeath. This road winds down into New Polzeath. Follow the road until you can see the sea immediately in front of you, then turn right down Gulland Road. The house you see at the very end of this road is Medla.
